International carbon project development

RHG International's flagship program covers approximately one million hectares in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Program

RHG International develops carbon projects internationally. Its flagship program is a REDD+ program under Verra's Verified Carbon Standard in the Democratic Republic of Congo, covering approximately one million hectares.

The program is at an early stage. Partners are in place, in-country and operationally; we are not naming them yet.

The approach is built to be repeated. The DRC program is the first, not the limit.

Why the Congo Basin

The Congo Basin holds the world's second-largest tropical rainforest. It is also where high-integrity supply is scarcest relative to the demand now forming under Article 6 and CORSIA.

That gap — real forest at scale on one side, buyers who need credits that survive scrutiny on the other — is what this program is built to close.

Where it stands

Stage — early. Feasibility and baseline work underway.

Standard — REDD+ under Verra VCS.

Partners — in place, in-country and operational.

Rating — preliminary rating from an independent agency in process.

For investors and buyers

We're talking with family offices, private capital and credit buyers who want exposure to high-integrity REDD+ supply at origination rather than through the secondary market. There's a great deal more to this than belongs on a public page. Let's get in touch.
